This community is a great commuting neighborhood; it is just 8 miles outside of Boston, and accessible to major highways. Additionally, this area is served by many MBTA bus routes and close to Red Line’s Alewife Station in Cambridge and West Medford commuter rail station. The Minuteman Bikeway is a well-used bicycle and pedestrian path built on a former railroad track. It connects Bedford and Lexington to the west, runs through Arlington Heights, crosses Massachusetts Avenue at Arlington Center, and leads to Alewife Station on MBTA.
